| Tackle twill is designed to give your garment or items a Big and Bold athletic look. This is the lettering that you see on the shirts of the professional sport teams. Tackle twill can also be used on uniforms, letter jackets, and most other type of apparel. | |
This decorating method is most commonly seen on athletic uniforms. A player’s name and number is designed with twill fabric, cut into the chosen letter style, then sewn onto the garment with a zig-zag or satin stitch. 
This same method can be applied to designs with large areas of color. These areas can be substituted with many different types of fabric and prints (cut into any custom shape) to give it a multi-faceted look.
